Vijayawada:Telugu Desam party National president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu lauded the services, being made by noted film actor and Covid frontline activist, Sonu Sood during the Coronavirus situation.
Mr.Naidu, speaking at a webinar on the topic "Ways to ensure overall wellbeing of society" organised as part of the '#Wemusttalk' initiative of the NTR Memorial Trust, in which Sonu Sood also took part, extolled Sonu Sood for his efforts to reach out to the ill-fated migrant workers, whose lives were ridden with crisis during the pandemic.
Helping others was in his good nature, Mr Naidu praised and said the Covid frontline champions should share their experiences in order to extend these services to more sections of the people”.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sonu Sood said everybody could take part in the Covid frontline service activities since it would involve just a resolve to help but not any money. The Covid had taught empathy, humanity and humility to the whole world.
The enduring challenge would remain how to ensure sustainable livelihoods for countless workers who lost their work opportunities in the first wave itself.
Mr Sood recalled and lauded Mr. Chandrababu Naidu's outstanding contributions that gave a facelift to united Andhra Pradesh during his term as the Chief Minister. Hyderabad looked very beautiful and well maintained and the city witnessed rapid progress, thanks to the TDP Chief's efforts to strengthen the IT sector, he said.(UNI)
