Mumbai: Months after the divorce of power couple Naga Chaitanya-Samantha Ruth Prabhu, came another shocking split from the South, this time involving a happy-go-lucky pair and 18 years of togetherness!
Actor Dhanush, known for his intense performances in a variety of movies, including both Hindi and Tamil, announced separation from his wife of 18 years, Southern Director Aishwaryaa, on social media.
The Shamitabh actor posted, "18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well wishers to each other. "
"The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate... "
"Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this. Much love always to you all," he added.
Aishwaryaa, the elder daughter of Southern Superstar and legend Rajinikanth, also shared a similar, heartfelt note, echoing the same feelings.
