Pune-based filmmaker Suvahhdan Angre’s Film ‘The Dogs Separation’ has caught the attention of various Indian and International Film Festivals and is on an award-winning spree. Angre is known for his films ‘Aadesh-Power of Law’ (2015), inspired by the life and times of public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, and ‘Dreaded Gangster’ (2017), inspired by the misadventures of the underworld Don Abu Salem.

Directed by Suvahhdan Angre, The Dogs Separation is a conspiracy eye-opener film. It is already making waves in the festival circuit by winning 6 prestigious awards including Best Producer of the Year twice, Best Actress twice in Tamilnadu and Malaysia, and at various international film festivals across the world. The very prestigious Stockholm’s City Film Festival has also selected the film in the ‘Best Actress Category.”  The film has been Produced by Deepali S Angre and Suvahhdan Angre.

Suvahhdan Angre says, “We have always experimented with unique, controversial, and socially challenging subjects in our films. Interestingly, the audience has always applauded the same. The Dogs Separation is another Bollywood film that uncovers the conspiracies and true incidents related to the pre-covid event “201” which was carried out in 2019 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, World Economic Forum, and WHO (World Health Organization). The film is complete and it’s ready to release on a major OTT platform, in the days to come.”

The story expresses the emotions of today’s high-profile life of couples and their dependence on robotic and cellular technologies for every work.  The trials and tribulations of their divorce are shown sarcastically in the film. The human-robot ‘Ayugmyth’ plays a pivotal part in the film along with the dog Jimmy. But there is a twist in the tale and many questions remain to be answered as the story unwinds like... Will the human Robo and Dog successfully bring the couple closer, or will they get separated? Why was the event 201 done? What was their aim?

“This technological suspense thriller is based on the real-life of technologist ‘Mr. Bill Gates.’ The film exposes the side effects of forced digitalization which has caused unnatural situations in the world such as singularity (divorces), meta-humans, isolations, psychological Illnesses, mental health disorders, and even forced behaviors like LGBTQI, etc. We have shown his and like-minded ones’ dark side for ruling the world with the use of technology, some unseen and unheard of incidences from his life making it worth a watch,” adds Suvahhdan.

There are 3 main protagonists, where the lead is played by talented actor Aditya Alankar, who ensures he frames Bill Gates's version in Rajveer, the love interest, the lead actress is played by Leena Nandi, and the catalyst is played by Mithila Naik (who had also played the role of wife of Ujjwal Nikam in Aadesh -  The Power of Law).

Well-known celebrities like PitBull and Juhi Chawla have spoken about this event 201 in the past (source available on YouTube).

Angre believes that the potential of a human is endless if the human being understands his abilities through his brain and common sense. The forced digital revolution and the imitations of humans, i.e. AI, is violating the efficiency of humans. In cities like Pune, Mumbai, Cochin, Washington DC, or Moscow for that matter, the speed of technology has virtually taken over everything including human consciousness, mind, and emotions.

Understanding of the original creator and the creation is lost somewhere and we have forgotten the existence of life when there was no technology, according to Suvahhdan, who has directed feature films “Aadesh – The Power of Law, Billu Ustaad, Dreaded Gangster, etc. He had also been Asst. Director in films like Mangal Pandey, Jodhaa Akbar, The Myth, Swades etc.

His film ‘The Dogs Separation’ has received awards, accolades, and official selections in The Buddha International Film Festival, Kodaikanal International Film Festival, Rohip International Film Festival, Global India International Film Festival, Navy International Film Festival, Thilsri International Film Festival, Kalakari Film Festival, Madras Independent Film Festival, and Stockholm’s City Film Festival, Sweden so far.
