Mumbai: Ever wondered how much your favorite B-town star charges to sign for a movie. You might have straightaway thought “lumpsum” after our question. And while it is indeed a big money, none of these even come close to the greatest superstar of them all : Rajinikanth!
While the biggest star of Bombay Salman Khan gets 60-70 crore for a film, Rajinikanth can move away with a whopping 240 crore rupees for a film! By all means, four time bigger!
Spare a glance at the mind blowing fees of these stars anyway :
Ranveer Singh
Starting his career with a hit movie “Band Baja Barat”, Raveer Singh has increased his fees three fold after the success of Bajirao Mastani. Now he charges 10 crore.
Varun Dhawan
Varun Dhawan has not faced a failure in his career once. After the success of Badrinath ki Dulhania he charges 10-12 crores.
Ranbir Kapoor
The lean patch of Ranbir Kapoor has not affected his demand. He continues to charge 20-25 crore.
Amitabh Bachchan
The star of the millennium continues to pack a punch at the box office. The fees is directly proportional to the length of his role. Generally, he takes 12-15 crore as fees.
Hrithik Roshan
The Greek God of Bollywood usually signs home production movies. However, he charges 30- 40 crore, (sometimes more) to sign a movie.
Ajay Devgan
The fees of Ajay Devgan keep on fluctuating according to budget. He usually demands 30-40 crore from the producer.
Akshay Kumar
The Khiladi is crafty in minting money. Usually his rate is 40-50 crore to lead the film. In Jolly LLB, he was interested in the partnership in profit.
Aamir Khan
The perfectionist of B-town now prefers to seek partnership in net profit in lieu of fees which could cost 50-60 crore to the producer.
Shahrukh Khan
As the Baadshah also owns the Red chillies entertainment, he keeps on fluctuating his fees and sometimes signs the project in goodwill. Likewise, other actors he now prefers a chunk from the profit. His tentative fees lies between 40-45 crore.
Salman Khan
The Sultan can take a whooping 60 crore from the producer but he relishes 75-80 percent of the net profit.
