Mumbai: The first track from "War 2", titled "Aavan Jaavan", has highlighted the on-screen chemistry between the lead pair Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani.

Yash Raj Films recently released the mellifluous track set against Italy's resplendent landscapes, from the pastoral idyll of Tuscany's sun-soaked vineyards and undulating hills to the vivacious allure of Rome's cobbled streets, sunlit piazzas and ancient monuments.

Sharing the vision behind the song, director Ayan Mukerji said, "We needed a backdrop to film this love song. It should seem like this beautiful travel energy song where two people are just in love and seeing the world together. So I was very happy when we finally selected Italy as the location for the song."

Kiara recalled the blissful energy of the location, "We've had just the right mix of sunshine and that lovely wind coming in. I just feel like staying back here and just chilling, relaxing and swimming in these thermal pools. It's just dreamy and beautiful."

Choreographer Bosco Martis added, "It looks like a beautiful, exotic destination that we are in. Tuscany has really given us that glory. It's given us this whole palette. It's quite fantastic."

However, Ayan shared that it was tough to shoot, and permission was required at the selected locations. He said, “When I went into Rome, I felt we have to film some of the iconic stuff in Rome, against the Colosseum and the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain."

He added, "And these were very difficult locations to film and difficult to get permissions for, but I think the stars really aligned. We've shot at all of these places. We feel, you know, really proud of it.”

The filmmaker then shared his experience of working with the crew. He called Aavan Jaavan a “feel-good song” and said making it gave him a really good feeling.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, "War 2" is slated for global theatrical release on August 14, 2025 in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
