COVID-19: India logs 16,167 new cases, 41 deaths in 24 hrs

New Delhi: India registered 16,167 new Covid-19 cases, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Ministry, the total caseload rose to 4,41,61,899 while the toll touched 5,26,730 as 41 more succumbed to the disease.
A total of 15,549 people recuperated from the disease, taking the recovery to 4,34,99,659. The recovery rate stands at 98.50 per cent.
The active caseload stands at 1,35,510, the figures showed.
As per the bulletin, 87.81 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
India has administered 206.56 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive. (UNI)
