COVID-19: India logs 913 new cases, 13 deaths in 24 hrs

New Delhi: India registered 913 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally of cases to 4,30,29,044 in the country, as per the Health Ministry data on Monday.

As many as 13 fresh Covid fatalities were also recorded, taking the total death count in the country to 5,21,358.

The active cases in the country currently stand at 12,597 which now comprise 0.03 per cent of the total infections, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate has decreased to 98.76 per cent.

Meanwhile, 1,316 recoveries were also reported, increasing the total tally to 4,24,95,089.

According to the Ministry's bulletin as on Monday 79.10 Crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 3,14,823 tests have been conducted.

“India has administered 184.70 cr doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive,” Ministry data said. (UNI)
