Covid-19: India records 3207 cases, 29 deaths in last 24 hrs

New Delhi: India recorded 3207 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally of cases to 4,31,05,401 in the country, as per the Health Ministry data on Monday.
As many as 29 fresh Covid fatalities were also recorded, taking the total death count in the country to 524093.
The active cases currently stand at 20,403 which now comprises 0.05 per cent of the total infections, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate stands to 98.74 per cent.
Meanwhile, 3410 recoveries were reported from Covid, increasing the total recoveries of 4,25,60,905.
According to the Ministry's bulletin 84.10 Crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far, with 3,36,776 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours.
“India has administered 190.34 cr doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive,” Ministry data said. (UNI)
