COVID-19: India records 67,084 cases, 1,241 deaths in 24 hrs

New Delhi: India recorded 67,084 new Covid cases during the past 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Ministry, the total caseload rose to 4,24,78,060, while the death toll rose to 5,06,520 as 1,241 succumbed to the virus during the past 24 hours.
On the other hand, 1,67,882 more people recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total recovery tally to 4,11,80,751. The recovery rate currently stands at 96.95 per cent.
The active caseload now stands at 7,90,789, the figures showed.
As per the bulletin, 74.61 crore tests for Covid-19 have been conducted so far.
India has administered 171.28 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive. (UNI)
