India records 9,520 new Covid cases registered with 41 casualities

New Delhi: India has registered 9,520 new Covid-19 cases, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.The total caseload rose to 4,43,98,696 while the death toll rose to 5,27,597 as 41 more succumbed to the disease.
On the other hand, 12,875 people recuperated from the disease, taking the tally to 4,37,83,788. The recovery rate stands at 98.58 per cent.The active caseload stands at 87,311, the figures showed.
As per the bulletin, 88.47 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.India has administered 211.39 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive.(UNI)
