India records 10,725 new COVID cases, active caseload at 94,047

New Delhi: India recorded 10,725 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally of active caseload to 94,047 as per the Health Ministry data on Thursday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Health Ministry, 31 fresh fatalities were recorded, taking the death toll to 5,27,488.
Meanwhile, 13,084 recoveries were reported, increasing the total recoveries to 4,37,57,385 whereas the national Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.60 per cent.
According to the bulletin, 88.39 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far. In the last 24 hours, a total of 3,92,837 tests have been conducted.
"India has administered 210.58 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine (94.08 crore second dose and 14.50 crore precaution dose), so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive," the Ministry data said.
More than 200.32 crore more vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs so far. Over 6.06 crore balance and unutilized Covid vaccine doses are still available with the States/UTs to be administered, the ministry said. (UNI)
