Ouagadougou: Eleven people were killed on Wednesday in an attack in north-central Burkina Faso, the governor of the region Casimir Segueda said in a statement on Friday.
On Wednesday evening, unidentified armed men carried out an attack against the village of Ankouna in the commune of Pensa, Sanmatenga (Center-North) Province.The attack, which targeted the civilian population, left 11 dead and one injured, said the governor.
