Consecration of Ram Darbar in Ayodhya Ram Temple on June 5

Ayodhya (UP): The consecration of the temples located in the grand and divine complex of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, the city of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram, will be done on the occasion of the Ganga Dussehra festival on June 5.

On this occasion, a three-day festival will be celebrated from June 3 to June 5. The worship programmes will start from May 30 and they will begin with the installation of Shivling in the temple located in the complex.

A total of 101 Vedic scholars from Kashi and Ayodhya will oversee the ritual. Two feet long marble thrones have been specially prepared for the deities.

Officials of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust area said that the idols will be placed on a throne during the consecration ceremony. They said that apart from this, the consecration of the temples located in the Sapt Mandap area will be done in which Shri Valmiki, Agastya, Vishwamitra, Ahalya, Shabari and Nishadraj will be consecrated.

Chairman of the Temple Construction Committee, Nripendra Mishra, who reached Ayodhya to attend the two-day meeting of the Temple Construction Committee, said that the religious programmes of consecration will start from June 3 and will conclude on June 5. "Before this, the construction work of the main temple will be completed," he said.

He said that the construction work going on in the rest of the temple, especially the construction of the rampart, the Sheshavatar temple will be completed according to their set targets. "The work of making the peak of the six temples of the rampart including the Ram temple golden will be completed in the next two days," he said.

Mishra said that the construction of the Sapt Mandir has been completed. "The statues of sages and saints have also reached there. Pushkarni, which is a water reservoir in the middle, has also been completed," he said.

He said that the construction work of the four gates in the Ram temple, the auditorium and the guest house is in progress. He said that the first gate in the construction of the gate, which is in the northern direction, will be completed by June 4.

He said that other works going on in the complex will be completed by October. "On the festival of Jyeshtha Krishna Ekadashi, the statue of Ram Darbar will be installed at its place on the first floor of the Ram temple. However, the remaining work is still going on here. This idol of Ram Darbar has been brought from Jaipur, which was entered into the Ramjanmabhoomi premises.

Similarly, Lord Narmadaeshwar has also been installed in the Shivalaya built in the south-west of the rampart," he said.

The Chairman said that after the installation of idols in six temples of the rampart including Ram Darbar and seven temples of Sapt Mandap, the three-day ritual of consecration will start from June 3 and during this time the idols will be placed in different residences and the life will be infused in them with Vedic mantras on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra on June 5 at the scheduled time.

He said that with this, the entire work from the first floor to the peak will be completed by June 5. After this, the towers around the Ram temple will be removed. He said that the construction work will continue in Shri Ramjanmabhoomi, which will be completed in December.
