The eco-friendly Ganesha idol will have seven faces, seven snakes and 14 hands this year.

The organizers are going to install the idol of Lord Ram, similar to the Ayodhya Ram Lalla, as a special attraction this year.

In addition to the main Ganesha idol, sculptures of Srinivas Kalyanam and Shiva Parvati Kalyanam will be prominent additions.

Artisans from Chennai, Andhra Pradesh and Mumbai are preparing the 70-foot Ganesha idol made of clay.

Last year, the SGUC set a new record with a 63-feet tall clay idol weighing up to 50 tonnes.

All arrangements will be made for Ganesh Chaturthi this year, ensuring that facilities all will be provided for devotees to offer prayers without any inconvenience, according to organizers.

The first pooja will be conducted by the Governor Jishnu Dev Varma. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will be present as the chief guest.

The festival will be organised for 11 days with the coordination of all departments.
