Tirupati: On the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadasi,Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is making arrangements at a faster pace at all the Sarva Darshan Token issuing centres here to enable devotees to worship Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala for 10 days from January 10 to 19 next year.
According to the instructions from TTD Executive Officer J Shyamala Rao, the officials of various departments in coordination are making extensive arrangements.
As a part of this, facilities such as queue lines, barricades, sheds, security, drinking water, toilets are being set up under the supervision of the engineering department of TTD.
Tokens for the first three days ( January 10, 11 & 12) for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam, numbering 1.20 lakh, will be issued from 5 AM on January 9, 2025.
For this tokens, will be issued at 90 counters in 8 centers at Tirupati and 4 counters in one centre at Tirumala.
Devotees possessing original Aadhaar card can walk into any of the counters set up at Indira Maidanam, Ramachandra Pushkarini, Srinivasam Complex, Vishnunivasam Complex, Bhudevi Complex, Ramanaidu High School in Bairagipatteda, Zilla Parishad High School in MR Palli, Zilla Parishad High School in Jeevakona ( all in Tirupati) and also Balaji Nagar Community Hall ( Tirumala) are being arranged for Tirumala locals.
Similarly, for the remaining days (from January 13 to 19), arrangements are being made to issue tokens only at Bhudevi Complex, Srinivasam and Vishnu Niwasam in Tirupati a day before for the succeeding day Darshan.
TTD appeals that only devotees who have received tokens shall be allowed for Darshan in Tirumala on the specified date and time slot allotted to them.
Recommendation letters for VIP break darshan have been cancelled for 10 days for the convenience of common devotees.
But if the dignitaries within the scope of the protocol come in person, they will be given darshan of Srivaru.
Similarly, the TTD has cancelled special darshans for the parents with infants, senior citizens, disabled, NRIs, defence personnel during these ten days.
