Nashik: The supporters of Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) candidate Suhas Kande and Independent candidate Sameer Bhujbal, nephew of state minister and senior NCP (AP) leader Chhagan Bhujbal, in Nandgaon constituency of the district on Wednesday, when the polling for single-phase of Maharashtra Assembly election is underway.
Sameer Bhujbal alleged that Shinde Sena faction candidate Suhas Kande was bringing hundreds of outsiders in a vehicle on polling day in Nandgaon constituency while passing through there.
He saw money was distributed to them and they were later taken in vehicles to vote. He reported the incident to police.
So, Bhujbal intercepted and blocked access to the said vehicle on the Nandgaon-Manmad road, where Kande's educational institute is located, with his own vehicle, resulting in a clash between the supporters of the two.
In a complaint lodged with police, Bhujbal alleged that Kande's supporters beat Bhujbal's supporters and also threatened to kill him, "Aaj tera murder fixed hai."
Meanwhile, Chhagan Bhujbal has accused Suhas Kande of taking over the entire system in his hand.
However, Khande dismissed allegation, saying that he had arranged a breakfast for labourers in his educational institution.
