New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will hold a ‘maha rally’ on Sunday at Ramlila Maidan in the national capital against Centre’s ordinance on control over ‘services'.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted on Saturday and urged the people to attend the ‘maha rally against ordinance recently issued by the Centre. “Tomorrow the people of Delhi will unite at Ramlila Maidan against the dictatorial ordinance of the Central government which has taken away the rights of Delhiites. You must also come to this mega rally being organized to save the constitution and democracy,” he wrote in a tweet.

AAP’s Delhi Convenor and Minister Gopal Rai reviewed the preparations of the party’s maha rally at Ramlila Maidan.

Recently, Rai had said that AAP will oppose the ordinance and demand Centre to withdraw the ordinance. “The people of Delhi have given a chance not once or twice but thrice to have the government formed and run.

The people have undeniably declared that they have given responsibility of running Delhi’s government to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, but the Central government has not been able to tolerate this," Rai recently alleged. (UNI)
