After suspension, Samjhauta Express arrives in Delhi after 5 hours delay

New Delhi: Samjhauta Express arrived here on Friday morning, a day after Pakistan suspended its service at Wagah border.
From Attari, the train left at around 2000 hrs and was expected to reach Delhi at 0330 hrs in the small hours of Friday, but arrived at around 0805 hrs, sources said here. 
 
According to Railway officials here, the train started late from Attari because it was received late from Pakistan....Samjahuta Link Express can only be started from Attari after all customs and immigration formalities.
 
On Thursday, when questions were raised over its running, railway officials in Delhi had confirmed that the train ''has not been suspended. It will run. Pakistan authorities have raised some concerns with regards to security for crew and guard of the Samjhauta Express. We have told them the situation is normal on this side." 
 
The Samjhauta Express is a bi-weekly train that runs between Delhi and Attari in India on Thursdays and Mondays and Lahore in Pakistan.
