New Delhi: A day after the Delhi Assembly Elections, a source linked to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has informed that the construction of the grand Ram Temple will start either from April 2 (Ram Navami) or April 26 (Akshay Tritiya).
The source further said on Sunday that the first meeting of the Trust will approve the proposal on February 19 at the residence-cum-office of the Trust of K Parasaran, the counsel of the Hindu parties who successfully argued the case in the Supreme Court.

"The Ram Temple Construction issue will be one of the top agendas of the proposed meeting of the Trust on Feb 19", according to a Trust member.

"The construction of the Ram Temple has been awarded by the Supreme Court through its verdict on November 9, 2019 which will start materialising on 'auspicous day' of either on Ram Navami or Akshay Tritiya".

Informatively, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced in Parliament on February 5, the setting up of the Ayodhya Temple Trust for the construction.

The decision, that came a day after the Delhi Polls and two days ahead of the counting, lent itself to political 'interpretations', but the opposition steered clear of any allegations so far, perhaps keeping in mind the emotive nature of the issue.

Earlier, when the government announced the formation of the trust on February 5, just four days before the three-month deadline set by the Apex Court was to end, CM Arvind Kejriwal had commented, "Some people are asking about the timing. There is no right time for good work".

An estimated 62.6 per cent turnout was reported in the February 8, 70 members Assembly Elections. The results will be announced on February 11, Wednesday.(UNI)
