Ayyappa devotee injured in stone pelting dies

Sabarimala: An Ayyappa devotee who was injured in a stone pelting incident in Pandalam in Pathanamthitta district died on Wednesday night. 
The victim was identified as Chandran Unnithan. He sustained injury in the stone pelting by CPI (M) workers when he was taking part in a protest march by Sabarimala Karma Samiti this evening in Pandalam.
 
As many as 10 people also injured in the stone pelting by the CPI (M) men.CPI(M) workers pelted stones on the protest march taken out by Sabarimala Karma Samiti in protest against the entry of two young women into the Lord Ayyappa temple on Wednesday early morning.
 
Chandran Unnithan, who sustained injury on his head, was admitted to the Believers Medical College, Thiruvalla, where he died in this night.(UNI)
