Bahraich (UP): In yet another incident a wolf attacked a five-year-old girl in Hardi area of Bahraich district here in Uttar Pradesh, sources said here on Tuesday.
Sources said that the wolf attacked Afsana (5), who was sleeping with her grandmother in Girdhar Purwa village located in Hardi area of the district on Monday night. On hearing the screams, the family woke up and on hearing the noise the wolf left her and ran away.
On receiving the information of the wolf attack, local MLA Sureshvar Singh also reached the spot. The injured girl was admitted to the local health centre where doctors gave her first aid.
The condition of the girl is said to be out of danger while the wolf managed to escape by scratching the cheek of another child of the same village.
