Ayodhya: Pro-Hindu outfit Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), has given a clarion call for immediate construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya, along with the ownership of entire disputed land and withdrawal of case from the Muslim side.
“We want entire disputed area for Ram Temple construction at Ayodhya as it will serve the purpose for developing the area,” VHP international vice-president Champat Ram said here at Dharam Sabha (religious meeting) on Sunday.
Amid demand from the Centre to bring an Ordinance for the construction of Ram Temple, Mr Ram said Muslim organisation should withdraw their case for paving early construction of the temple.
He said VHP will not accept the verdict given by Allahabad High Court. “We won’t allow division of the land as suggested by the Allahabad HC. VHP want’s entire land not the two-thirds of it,’’ he asserted.
A three-judge Lucknow bench of Allahabad HC, in its verdict on Ayodhya dispute on 30 September 2010, has pronounced that Ayodhya land to be divided into three parts---one-third goes to Ram Lalla represented by Hindu Maha Sabha, one-third to Sunni Wakf Board and one-third to Nirmohi Akhara.

UP Additional Director General of Police (Law and order) Anand Kumar told reporters here on Sunday that the VHP sponsored Sabha is going in a peaceful manner.
“We were taking the help of Drone cameras to monitor the crowd while patrolling have been intensified,” the ADG said.
The official claimed that around 75,000 people are attending the Sabha while 25,000 people are at different temples.
The ADG, denied about threat by terrorist in Ayodhya. He said it was just a rumour.
RSS pracharak and businessman from Pratapgarh has donated Rs 1 crore to VHP for the Ram temple construction, sources said.
Meanwhile, volunteers of recently floated party of Shivpal Yadav, Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Lohia, led a march to Rajbhawan here on Sunday to protest against the VHP sponsored Sabha in Ayodhya. Later, Mr Yadav handed a memorandum to Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik.
Without taking names, he alleged that some parties are trying to create communal tension before the Lok Sabha polls. (UNI)
