New Delhi:The cyclone Amphan, though slightly weakened, is expected to make its landfall close to Sunderbans between Digha (Bengal) and Hatiya Islands (Bangladesh) as an "extremely severe cyclonic storm" on Wednesday afternoon.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD) head M Mohapatra, the cyclone will dump heavy rain with winds howling at 155-165 kmph, gusting to 185 kmph fearing huge losses.
