In addition, the third batch of Phase-3 has got the first approval under this scheme, before this, the Phase-2 of this scheme also got the first approval in the country in March 2021, the Deputy Chief Minister informed after presiding over the meeting of the Sixth Executive Committee of the 'Haryana Rural Roads and Infrastructure Development Agency' on Tuesday.
Mr Chautala, who is also the chairman of 'Haryana Rural Roads and Infrastructure Development Agency', said that the Haryana State has completed 426 roads under Phase-1 and 88 roads under Phase-2 and Construction of 18 bridges for which the work has already been completed under 'Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana' of the Central Government.
It was informed in the meeting that 120 roads have been approved under batch-2 of Phase-3 of 'Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana', which will cost a total of Rs 549.51 crore. The total length of these roads is 1216.95 km.
Roads constructed under this scheme include 9 roads of Ambala district, 17 roads of Bhiwani district, 2 roads of Faridabad district, 14 roads of Fatehabad district, 14 roads of Hisar district, 3 roads of Jind district, 7 roads of Kaithal district, 8 roads of Kurukshetra district, 1 road of Mahendragarh district, 12 roads of Palwal district, 11 roads of Panipat district, 4 roads of Rohtak district, 7 roads of Sirsa district, 11 roads of Sonipat district.(UNI)
