Hyderabad: A major rave party was busted by the police in Kondapur on Saturday night, leading to the arrest of nine individuals.
The party was being held in a service apartment and involved drugs, liquor, and obscene dances with women reportedly brought in from Andhra Pradesh.
Acting on a tip-off, Sub-Inspector Sandhya Balaraju and her team raided the premises, seizing 2.08 kg of ganja, 50 grams of OG Kush, 11.57 grams of magic mushrooms, 1.91 grams of hashish, along with liquor bottles, four cars, and 11 mobile phones.
According to police, the main accused—Naidu, alias Vasu and Shivam Rayudu from Vijayawada — had formed a gang that regularly brought drugs and organised weekend rave parties in service apartments in Kondapur. A total of 11 people have been booked in the case, and further investigation is underway.
