New Delhi: Former president Pranab Mukherjee, former vice-president Hamid Ansari, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, chairperson of the Congress parliamentary party Sonia Gandhi and party president Rahul Gandhi on Monday paid tributes to late prime minister Indira Gandhi on her 101st birth anniversary at Shakti Sthal here.
Others to pay homage to the late prime minister were Leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad, AICC general secretary P C Chacko, Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken besides hundreds of Congress leaders and activists.
In a post on social media, the Congress president cited a quote by the late prime minister which read, ''Forgiveness is a virtue of the brave. Indira Gandhi''.(UNI)
