Lucknow:Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday visited veteran BJP leader Kalyan Singh whose health is continuously deteriorating, doctors attending on him at SGPGIMS said.On Tuesday, Prof RK Dhiman, director of Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) said Singh's condition has been critical for several days, due to which he is kept on life saving support system.
Singh was admitted to the Critical Care Medicine of the institute on July 4. His condition gradually improved, but on July 17, he was put on non-invasive ventilation after he complained of breathing problems. He was put on life saving support system as the condition worsened.
Prof Dhiman said that close monitoring of all his parameters is being done. Doctors of CCM Cardiology Nephrology, Neurology and Endocrinology are keeping a close watch on all aspects related to his health.
The family members of the former chief minister are present in the hospital.
Singh was admitted to Lucknow's Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences late on July 3, from where he was shifted to SGPGIMS on July 4 evening after his health condition became critical.
