Mah CM Eknath Shinde pays tributes to Shivaji Maharaj

Mumbai:Maharashtra State Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday paid rich tributes to the statues of great personalities in the premises of Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi by offering flowers.
An official press statement stated that Mr Shinde is on a two-day visit to Delhi and today he paid tributes to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at the Maharashtra Sadan.
Maharashtra House Resident Commissioner Dr. Nirupama Dange and Assistant Resident Commissioner Dr. Rajesh Adpawar were present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister also paid tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar statue located next to the Chief Minister's Hall and the statue of the great social reformer Mahatma Phule next to the Governor's Hall by offering flowers.
Notably, Mr Shinde along with deputy chief minister Devendra Fadanvis met union Home minister Amit Shah, BJP president JP Nadda, Union defence minister Rajnath Singh and President Ramnath Kovind.CM Shinde is also scheduled to meet prime minister Narendra Modi.(UNI)
