Mamata Banerjee injured during campaigning at Nandigram, says pushed by 4-5 men (Video)

Nandigram: West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday suffered an injury to her leg during election campaigning here.
Ms Banerjee alleged she was pushed resulting in injury. She claimed four persons tried to manhandle her.
Ms Banerjee is being rushed to Kolkata for treatment.
The TMC supremo claimed she was attacked while returning after performing puja in a temple.

Ms Banerjee alleged she was manhandled and there were no cops cordoning at Barulia Bazar at Nandigram.
“There were four five men who did it,” the Chief Minister said.
Pointing to her leg, she said, “See how it is swelling up”. Asked if it was a planned attack, the TMC supremo said, “Of course it is a conspiracy? there was no security men around me”. (UNI)
