New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going for a major overhaul of his Cabinet on Sunday morning. Confirming the date, official sources said here that new ministers would be administered oath at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 1000 hrs as the Prime Minister would be leaving for China in the afternoon to attend the BRICS Summit.
Several ministers, including Rajiv Pratap Rudy had already resigned last night ahead of the Cabinet rejig which would be a major one and probably the last one before the 2019 Lok sabha elections. Sources said the Prime Minister wants to have a new reinvigorated team to prepare for the 2019 battle by weeding out the non-performers. (UNI)
