Speaking on the occasion, UAE-based NRI Industrialist and Chairman of Aries Group, Sohan Roy, said an exclusive android application 'Poetrol' was also developed for the promotion of poems in Malayalam to inculcate reading habit among the people.
The digital version of the literary works compiled by Sohan Roy was launched at a function held at press club here.
Stating that he used to write poems on current issues, he said more than 500 poems have been released so far through social media and other platforms.
Sohan Roy's earlier work was 'Anukavyam,' a compendium of selected poems on socially relevant issues.
Abhinandan Varthaman was captured by the Pakistani Army on February 27 after his MiG-21 Bison jet was shot down in a dogfight with Pakistani F-16 fighter during an aerial combat.Later, the captured Indian pilot was released on the night of March 1 by Pakistan.(UNI)
