Rahul challenges PM to reduce fuel prices, after he accepted fitness challenge

New Delhi: After the hike in petrol and diesel prices continued for the 11th consecutive day on Thursday, Congress president Rahul Gandhi challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reduce fuel prices or the Congress will hold nationwide protests to do so.Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Mr Gandhi said,''Dear PM, Glad to see you accept the @imVkohli fitness challenge.''
''Here's one from me: Reduce Fuel prices or the Congress will do a nationwide agitation and force you to do so. I look forward to your response,'' he tweeted. 
 
India Cricket captain Virat Kohli has accepted challenge thrown by Information and Broadcasting Minister Rajvardhan Rathore, who has challenged actor Hrithik Roshan, Kohli and Badminton player Saina Nehwal to join in and post pictures and videos on ''how you keep yourself fit and send fitness challenge to your friends on social media''.
 
Kohli had accepted the dare and further challenged his wife Anushka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Cricketer MS Dhoni for the same. Mr Modi has accepted the challenge of Kohli and said he will be sharing his fitness challenge video soon.

Petrol prices in Delhi were increased by 26 paise to Rs 77.47 per litre and diesel by 15 paise to Rs 68.53 per litre.Diesel prices on the other hand, were hiked by 16 paise to Rs 72.96 per litre in Mumbai, according to Indian Oil Corp (IOC), the country's top refiner.(UNI)
