Rahul Gandhi's visit to Somnath temple recently was embroiled in a controversy over an entry purportedly made in a register meant for non-Hindus. Amid intense electioneering, the first phase of polling took place in 89 seats on Saturday. The second phase of polling in remaining 93 seats will be held on December 14.The counting of votes will take place on December 18.
