Tamil Nadu shocker! Man repeatedly punches father who dies later, CCTV footage goes viral

A 65-year-old man died after being brutally beaten up by his son over property dispute in Tamil Nadu’s Perambalur. The CCTV footage of the assault has gone viral.

Kulandhaivelu died on April 18, days after he was assaulted by his son Santhosh.

In the viral CCTV footage, Santhosh can be seen repeatedly punching his father, before Kulanthaivelu collapsed.

One family member can also be seen intervening and stopping Santhosh from assaulting his father. A visibly angry Santhosh is seen trying to continue the attack.

As a result of this brutal assault, Kulanthaivelu later died of heart attack on 18 April.

After the death of Kulandhaivelu, his family filed a complaint, and an investigation was launched.

A case was reportedly registered earlier over the attack after Kulandhaivelu was hospitalised, but was later withdrawn.
