According to the police, the duo identified as Inderjeet Gill and Jaspal Singh, both hailing from Moga town of Punjab, are also having connections with the banned channel Sikhs For Justice.
Recently on the eve of Independence Day, the two allegedly raised the Khalistan Flag at the roof-top of the District Collector’s office in Moga, Punjab and had desecrated the Indian flag at the premises.
Delhi Police informed the Moga police of the arrest of two members of the militant organization, Moga SSP Harmanbeer Singh Gill told UNI.
He said that a police party has left for Delhi to bring back both the accused on protection warrant.
According to the SSP, a third accused, Akashdeep Singh, was already arrested by the Moga police on August 20. He said the accused had conspired the crime following a call given by US based pro Khalistan outfit Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) led by Gurpatwant Singh. Akashdeep was instructed to make a video of the flag hoisting and the other two hoisted the Khalstani flag over the roof top of DC office. (UNI)
