A video clip of Nitish Kumar has been doing rounds on social media in which "he was spotted moving" during the national anthem at an international sports event held here on Thursday. In the viral video he was seen "laughing and talking" while the national anthem was being played. In the video, he appeared "confused", then "talked" during the national anthem with his principal secretary and retired IAS officer Deepak Kumar. When Kumar touched Deepak's arm "talking and laughing", the latter asked him to "stay still. Kumar then folds his hands while looking at someone in public". This act of Nitish was described by the opposition as an insult to the national song.
