Jalgaon: Former Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse has levelled serious allegations against Pune Police claiming that two women carrying drugs were deliberately sent to a private party just 15 minutes before the police raid, allegedly to implicate his son-in-law, Pranjal Khewalkar.

Khadse stated, "Two women, who arrived at the party shortly before the raid, had only met Pranjal 15 days earlier."The women were accompanied by two men and were found in possession of narcotics, which they allegedly handed over from their purses moments before the police entered.

“How can such a sequence of events be mere coincidence?” Khadse questioned.

He further pointed out that while the women found with drugs were sent to judicial custody without any objection, the police sought custody for further investigation of those who were not found with any narcotics. “This raises serious doubts,” he added.

Meanwhile, Rohini Khadse also raised concerns and met with Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar. She questioned how Pranjal’s private photos and personal content from his mobile phone and laptop were leaked, accusing the police of being responsible for the breach. In response, Commissioner Amitesh Kumar denied the allegations.

He stated that police never release any information prematurely and clarified that photography or videography inside police stations cannot be restricted. If someone captured and released images during the raid, the police cannot be held accountable.
