Lucknow: The appointment of new Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and his two Deputies will pave way for five by-elections in the state within next 6 months. While two Lok Sabha seats, Gorakhpur represented by CM Yogi Adityanath and Phulpur seat of Keshav Prasad Maurya would fell vacant, once they are elected to the state legislature in next six months time. But the difficult part is to be get elected all this three, to the state legislature.

As the vacancy in the legislative council would happen only in May next year, hence now the only way to enter the house will be to ask some dedicated leader to resign from their seats to hold the bypolls for their entry either in the Assembly or the Council. A senior party leader said that there is no problem for the entry of the trio in the state legislature." The leadership has already worked out on the issue and as days come a clear picture would emerge,"the leader hinted.

Yogi is a five time MP from Gorakhpur seat while Keshav has won the Phulpur seat for the first time in 2014 elections after being elected from Sirathu assembly seat of Kaushambi in 2012. Dinesh Sharma on the other hand is the two time Mayor from Lucknow, and his terms expires in next three months time. (UNI)
