TVS showroom manager said that due to electric short circuit, flames erupted in the showroom in which over 300 two-wheelers were gutted.
All the destroyed two-wheelers were new and parked in the showroom for sale.
Fire Officer Shankar Rao said that three fire tenders rushed there and extinguished the fire.
Since the showroom was constructed under prefabricate process the flames spread to the entire showroom within minutes.
The showroom is also a servicing centre.
The flames erupted in the first floor of the showroom.
Electric scooters were among the destroyed two-wheelers. As per the preliminary estimation, the loss could be over Rs 3 crore. However, no one was hurt in the fire mishap. (UNI)
