Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh): Seven workers died due to suffocation while they were cleaning the giant oil tanker in the Ambati oil factory located in G. Ragampet area near Peddapuram, 32 kms from here on Thursday.

It is stated that the tanker was being de-oiled for the past two days for annual maintenance and seven workers who went down to clean the empty tank died of suffocation due to inhaling of some poisonous gases emanated from inside.
