Avail Massage facility in these 39 trains originating from Indore junction

New Delhi:Railways have come up with a unique idea of providing head and foot massage facilities to passengers in 39 trains originating from Indore railway station.This unique initiative is proposed to fetch Rs 20 lakh in a year to the Railways.

This initiative of Railways will become functional in next 15-20 days, said a Railway official.

A passenger can avail foot and head massage facility at a cost of Rs 100 each, Rs 200 and Rs 300 depending on the type of massage one is availing.This will include Gold, Diamond, Platinum massages.

Three to five persons of contractor in this regard will  travel in each train for which valid ID proofs will be provided by Railways, he added.To promote new ideas and concepts related to passenger convenience together with enhancing Non Fare Revenue, a policy on Indian Railways has been formulated which comes under New, Innovative No Fare Revenue Ideas Scheme.

The scheme will be based at Divisional level and its focus will be on all new and innovative ideas, concepts, proposals that have not been tested before, the official said.(UNI)
