Kerala: Hotel staff held for having unnatural sex with pregnant goat

Kasaragod: Police on Thursday arrested a 37-year-old youth, a hotel employee hailing from Tamil Nadu, after being accused of having unnatural sex with a pregnant goat, which later succumbed to injuries at Kottachery near Kanhanghad in Kerala.
Police said they arrested Senthi, resident of Aranthangi in Pudukkottai district of Tamil Nadu and registered cases under Section 377 (Prevention of cruelty to animals act with unnatural offences) of IPC and produced before the Court of Hosdurg Judicial First Class Magistrate.
The court sent him to judicial custody for 14 days. As per the complaint, the incident took place on Wednesday night. Two goats were tied at the backyard of a hotel at Kottachery.
Hearing the screams of the animal, employees of the hotel reached there and found that the four-month pregnant goat was bleeding. After some time, the goat succumbed to injuries.
The hotel employees caught hold of Senthil, who was in an inebriated stage and handed him over to police. He confessed the crime during interrogation, police said.
Senthil had joined the hotel three months back. (UNI)
