LeT militants killed two more civilians in north Kashmir

Srinagar: Two persons were killed by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants in the wee hours on Saturday in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, a police spokesman said.
On Friday night, militants shot dead a person and critically wounded his wife in Baramulla, where three youths in their twenties were killed by gunmen recently.
During the intervening night of May 4 and 5, a group of militants bared into the house of one Ghulam Hassan Dar (45) alias Hassa Rassa and his nephew 26-year-old Bashir Ahmad Dar, a driver by profession at Gulshan Mohalla, Shahgund Hajin in Bandipora. However, before the family members could do anything militants abducted them, he told UNI.
 
He said in the wee hours at 0330 hrs, militants shot them dead and their bodies were recovered near a local mosque at Raheem Dar Mohalla, Hajin.Spokesman said preliminary investigation suggest that the LeT militants were involved in the incident.
 
Police has registered a case and started investigation, they added.Official source said unidentified gunmen barged into the residence of one Muhammad Ashraf Mir at Harwan Bomoi in Sopore at around 2130 hrs on Friday. "The gunmen fired at Mir and his wife, Saima Begum, resulting in injuries to the couple," they said.
 
 The injured were immediately taken to Sub District Hospital Sopore, where Mir succumbed. "Saima was referred to a hospital in a critical condition," they said.This is the second such incident in this week in Baramulla. Three youth were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in old Baramulla town on Monday.(UNI)
