Mumbai: Amravati MP Navneet Rana on Sunday openly challenged Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to contest from anywhere in Maharashtra state and said that she will ready to fight against him.
Rana who was suffering neck problem was admitted in to Lilavati Hospital after being granted bail by court.
Talking to media persons after her discharge she said that, in the upcoming corporation elections, I will go to the people with full force.
She said that in the coming time, the people of Maharashtra will tell CM Thackeray what is the result of harassing those who take the name of Hanuman and the name of Lord Ram. My fight will continue.
She further said that, I will respect the court's order but I will raise my voice against the atrocities committed by the government against her and her husband.
She further alleged that CM Thackeray is taking action by putting pressure on us. The CM does not meet anyone, does not visit the state, the districts do not come to the ministry. It is never known whether Maharashtra has a CM or not. We will report the problem to Delhi in a day or two, she added.
It may noted that Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana were arrested by Mumbai police from their residence when they are trying to recite the Hanuman Chalisha in front of Chief Minister's personal residence. (UNI)
