Punjab: Girl gang-raped by 6 youths in moving car in Ludhiana

Ludhiana: A girl was allegedly gang-raped by six youths in this industrial city of Punjab, police said here on Thursday.
According to the victim, six youth forcibly took her in a car and gang raped her in the moving vehicle.
Police said the victim lodged a complaint of gangrape in Hisar. The Hisar police sent zero FIR to Division Number five police station in Ludhiana.
The police said the victim, a resident of Jalandhar, told in her complaint that she used to live with her aunt's daughter in the Ludhiana city. Some time back his aunt's daughter introduced him to one Rakesh Kumar.
According to the victim, on January 29 last, she along with her aunt's daughter went to the bus stand to meet Rakesh, who put vermilion in her hairs and forcibly made her sit in the car in which five other youth were already sitting.
She alleged that all of them gang raped her and threw her on the way. The scared girl remained silent for a few days and went to Hisar and complained to the police.
Hisar Police registered a case and sent it to Ludhiana Police. Now the Ludhiana police has formed a team and started investigation. (UNI)
