South Korean woman YouTuber harassed on Mumbai street during live stream, 2 arrested (VIDEO)

Mumbai: Mumbai Police on Thursday arrested two youths after a video showing a woman YouTuber, reportedly from South Korea, being sexually harassed by group of youths on a Mumbai street went viral.

Police said they had not received any complaint but they have taken notice of the incident on their own and started a probe.

The Khar police station arrested Mobeen Chand Mohammad Shaikh and Mohammad Naqeeb Sadrealam Ansari for allegedly molesting the YouTuber.

“We were alerted about the incident, and immediately a team was formed... Since we had their facial identity through the video, we started looking out for them. It was confirmed they resided in Khar area. Upon getting the leads, the tracing began,” DCP Anil Paraskar told the media.

He added that it took the team only five to six hours before they arrested the two suspects.

According to reports, the lady streamer from South Korea was harassed by the young men in Khar on Wednesday night while she was live streaming. (UNI)
