Police sources said that Rampati, a resident of Rampakurr village, was attacked with brick and was battered to death by unidentified persons late on Saturday night. "The incident took place when Rampati was sleeping in his hut," they said.
Police sources said that the son of the deceased informed the police on Sunday morning. "The body has been sent for postmortem examination and the matter is being investigated by the police," they said.
