“Will ensure security of every Punjabi if AAP is voted to power”: Arvind Kejriwal announces his biggest guarantee

New Delhi/Punjab: AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced his biggest guarantee in the Punjab elections till yet, today. He assured the voters that unlike the rest, the AAP government will ensure the security of every Punjabi after coming to power and will plug all loopholes.

He stated — AAP will not let dirty politics be played over National Security and Internal Security issues; it is a promise from my end as the leader of AAP. People of Punjab are extremely worried about law and order and internal security matters. Punjab Government will work in sync with the Centre to protect the country and bring safety to every household of Punjab. Such tragic incidents take place when people from the other side are able to buy those working here to fulfil their evil plans. If AAP’s honest government is formed in Punjab, there will no drug trade, drone or tiffin bomb infiltration; won’t allow officers to be compromised. The most honest police officers will be posted on the border; will give proper directions to guide officers so everyone’s security can be ensured.

AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal addressed a severely important matter that has been troubling the people of Punjab and said, “Yesterday, a man came up to me, claiming to be a Hindu and mentioned the grievances shared by the Hindus, especially the trading community concerning their security in Punjab. The state has been through a very distressing period of terrorism, which has left a deep concern in the minds of not just Hindus, but the entire population of Punjab about the law and order situation in their land. There is constant tension among people about the internal security of the state – that the distressing period of history never repeats itself. Hence, this person expressed his worries about the recent incidents of terror that have taken place in their state.”

He added, “The way that the BJP and the Congress caused a stir with their petty politics over the PM’s security in Punjab – it instilled a sense of fear in the minds of Hindus here. It worried them. This type of politics on national and international security is unacceptable. If such politics exist, who will provide security? In the last few months, there have been several incidents in Punjab. Tiffin bombs have been discovered all over the place, and drones are flying in from the border. There was a bomb blast in Ludhiana, and there were sacrilege incidents too.”

CM Arvind Kejriwal continued, “Today, I want to reassure all three crore Punjabis of all castes and religions, including Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, and Muslims, that if the Aam Aadmi Party forms a government, it will be our responsibility to protect you. It will be our responsibility to safeguard every individual and trader. For the past seven years, we have been in charge of the Delhi government. We disagree with the central government on a number of issues. This only occurs between two governments. But, as you can see, whenever the issue of the country, the issue of society, or the issue of the people arose, we never played politics with it.”

“You must have noticed that during the Corona period, the Central Government provoked us numerous times, but despite this, we worked closely with the Central Government and managed Corona well within Delhi. I want to reassure everyone in Punjab, including the Hindu, Sikh, Christian, and Muslim communities, that we will never tolerate any kind of national security or internal security politics. There will be no political manoeuvring. The Punjab government will cooperate with the central government. Punjab is a state on the border with India. As a result, it is a very sensitive state. Will ensure the safety of the Punjabi people as well as the security of the country.”

The Delhi CM said, “Drugs are smuggled in from across the border. In Punjab today, there is a lot of proliferation of drugs. What is the source of it? There will be no visitors from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, or Delhi. All of the drugs are coming from the other side of the border. All of the drones are coming from the other side of the border. Tiffin bombs are also made there. We know that after the Bombay bombing, it was discovered that the RDX that had entered the city had been because of some tainted customs officials. Incidents occur when people from there are successful in buying some people from here for nefarious purposes. That is why an honest government in this border state is essential. Offers won’t be sold when there is an honest government. If the government is honest, honest police officers will be given responsibility. If there is an honest government, drugs from across the border will not be smuggled. Drones or tiffin bombs will never come on this side if there is an honest government. If there is an honest government, those who commit sacrilege will face the harshest punishment possible, so that no one will dare to do so again. If the mastermind of those who commit sacrilege against Bargadi had been punished today, no one in Darbar Sahib ji would have dared to commit sacrilege again. As a result, I want to reassure all Punjabis that the Punjab Government of the Aam Aadmi Party will ensure the safety of every Punjabi.”

Citing an example of misgovernance, CM Arvind Kejriwal said, “Assume there is an untrustworthy Chief Minister. He summons his police officers to a meeting. During that meeting, he will ask, "How much did you collect?" They’ll calculate the total collection from their respective areas', and that money will go to the top. Everyone's posts, including SP and SHO, have been sold in Punjab. The police station or the SP who accepts the posting in exchange for money has to collect monthly extortions and deliver them to the Chief Minister. Such people will only sell drugs. They will spread terrorism and will only play with people's safety.”

He concluded, “Now against them is a CM who is honest. When we formed the government in Delhi, it was claimed that government teachers do not work, but instead sit under a tree knitting sweaters. Today, the same 60 thousand teachers demonstrated a Delhi-wide revolution. When this Punjab Police receives the right signal and well-intentioned people are assigned to the right positions, this Punjab Police will also deliver well and demonstrate their capabilities by providing the state with the best possible security. Today, I want to reassure Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Muslims, businesspeople, and all Punjab residents that the AAP's Punjab Government will be responsible for their safety. You do not need to be concerned. An honest government will come to protect the border, and no activity from the other side will be able to hurt you.”
