Jakarta: Rahi Sarnobat on Wednesday clinched gold in the women’s 25 m Pistol event in the 18th Asian Games here on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Rahi’s compatriot Manu Bhaker got eliminated after finishing sixth.
Rahi won a gold with a total of 34 points in the final. Thailand’s profitable Naphaswan Yangpiboon also made a record, but in the shoot-off, she missed his two targets and slipped to number two.
Manu disappointed with her performance as after being qualified for final with a record in Asian Games.
Manu scored 297 in the Precision Session and 296 in the Rapid Rounds, and qualified for the final by staying at the top with a total of 593 scores. (UNI)
