Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star Tushar Deshpande took a dig at Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) after the Virat Kohli’s team was knocked out of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) on Wednesday. The RCB faced defeat by 4 wickets in the eliminator match against Rajasthan Royals.

After this defeat, CSK fast bowler shared a meme posted by Instagram account ‘cskfansofficial’ on his story. However, this did not go down well with the RCB fans, who abused the cricketer for engaging in troll-like behaviour. Soon, the CSK cricketer deleted the Instagram story which had a photo of Bengaluru Cantonment railway station, and stated, ‘Bengaluru Cant.’

This is the 17th season of IPL and the RCB has not been able to win the title till date. This year, the team reached the playoffs after winning 6 consecutive matches at the league stage, and everyone had high expectations that RCB would be successful in ending the IPL title drought this time, but with the defeat in the eliminator match, the team's dream of winning the title this year also remained unfulfilled.
